Its true that rules is a word which signifies the loyalty towards 
some regulations set up by some knowledgeable higher up person 
and it shouldn't be broken the guilty are scums...
but,
the writer says that the one who shows his back on to his friend
is even worse ...
the writer wants to show that friendship is a 2 headed knife handle 
with support and care you can overcome any obstacle laughing
but if one of the end loses it will only bring pain , sorrow and ..
as if we put all this philosophy aside A lots of blood too..
